Emily Duke (she/her) is a published writer, essayist, and event strategist with a penchant for the peculiar. Born and raised in historic Bucks County, PA, Emily grew up fascinated by folklore, unsolved mysteries, and the dark corners of America's history. That early appreciation shapes her writing, which often explores forgotten stories, mysterious places, and curious details tucked between the pages of the past. 

 

When she’s not digging through archives or wandering centuries-old cemeteries, Emily works as a strategic event planner and event technology consultant. With a decade of industry experience, she has managed large-scale corporate technology conferences around the world for some of the largest global brands including Yahoo, Qualtrics, AWS, and Salesforce.

Her bylines include publications such as Slackjaw and The Belladonna. She loves striped sweaters, antique shops, Diet Coke, and traveling to historic sites. Emily resides in Salem, MA with her husband and their Maltipoo.
